Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries on September 30th, 2025.
To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question (e.g., a basic mathematical question) as required by Canadian law.
Winners will be contacted directly through Facebook Messenger from The Mental Health Clinic’s official page. Once confirmed, winners will then be supported via phone/email to complete intake paperwork and book sessions.

For questions, corrections, or to withdraw consent, contact The Mental Health Clinic at 587-287-7830 or Toll-Free: 1-844-322-2114
For transparency, winners will be asked for their consent to display their first name/initials in a public winner announcement. However, winners have the right to decline, and The Mental Health Clinic will respect any request for privacy.
All counselling sessions will remain fully confidential in accordance with the ethical standards of the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA), Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
6. Prize Conditions
Winners must schedule their sessions within 14 days of being contacted and must use all sessions within 60 days of booking their first appointment.
Sessions must be scheduled consecutively (weekly or biweekly) to support therapeutic progress.
All counselling sessions are subject to The Mental Health Clinic’s standard intake and booking procedures, including completion of necessary consent forms.
Missed or cancelled appointments may be forfeited at the discretion of the clinic.
PLEASE NOTE: three sessions are not a complete course of treatment. Counselling is most effective when continued over time, and many clients choose to continue beyond their initial sessions in order to work toward a full treatment plan.

The Mental Health Clinic reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if technical issues, fraud, or other factors compromise the integrity of the contest.
The Mental Health Clinic reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, or acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.
Decisions of The Mental Health Clinic are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
9. Disclaimer
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook.
By entering, participants release Facebook from any responsibility or liability related to this contest.
10. Ethical & Professional Safeguards
This promotion is designed to increase awareness of available counselling services in Alberta, reduce barriers to accessing care, and celebrate the growth of The Mental Health Clinic team.
Offering limited-session promotional access does not replace the need for ongoing therapeutic care. Winners will be informed that continuation beyond the prize sessions is optional and encouraged for sustained progress.
All counselling services provided under this contest will adhere to the ethical codes and practice standards of ACTA, ACSW and CCPA, including client confidentiality, informed consent, and professional boundaries.
