  • No. A referral is not required to book counselling.

    You may schedule directly with a regulated Alberta therapist through our secure online booking system. Physician referrals are not necessary to begin services.

  • Many extended health benefit plans in Alberta provide coverage for counselling services delivered by regulated professionals.

    Our clinicians hold recognized professional designations that are commonly accepted by major insurance providers. Coverage depends on your individual insurance plan, annual benefit limits, and provider designation requirements. Before booking, we recommend confirming:

    • That counselling or psychotherapy services are included in your plan
    • The type of professional designation required
    • Your annual coverage maximum
    • Whether a referral is necessary

    We provide detailed receipts following each session so you can submit for reimbursement if your plan allows.

  • Yes. Online counselling sessions are delivered through secure, encrypted telehealth platforms that meet professional privacy and confidentiality standards in Alberta.

    As a regulated virtual counselling practice, we follow provincial ethical guidelines regarding client confidentiality, documentation, and data protection. Sessions are conducted by phone or secure video in a private setting. If you have specific privacy questions, you may contact our office for clarification before booking.
